Seongnam City selected 18 companies that contributed to local job creation despite challenging economic conditions as the โ2025 Excellent Employment Companiesโ and presented them with certificates and plaques on the 10th.
The award ceremony was held this afternoon in the conference room of the Financial and Economic Affairs Bureau at Seongnam City Hall, where representatives and working-level officials from the selected companies attended to officially receive the certifications.ย
The Seongnam City Excellent Employment Company Certification System is a program designed to encourage companies to expand employment and support sustainable growth. The evaluation is conducted in two categories: General Excellent Employment Companies and Youth Excellent Employment Companies. Following document evaluations and on-site inspections in August, the city finalized the selection of nine companies for each category.
The companies named as General Excellent Employment Companies this year include SST Lab, Woobo Disaster System, Lamina, Mediage, Terasion Biomedicals, ATEC System, ATEC, Newbit Technology, and OREON Life Science. Selected for the Youth Excellent Employment Companies were B&S Tech, RF Core, Uno Silicon, i-bricks, Genoray, Awasoft, ATEC Mobility, Hansol Life Science, and IREN.
The certification will remain effective for two years, from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2027. During this period, the companies will receive bonus points in various business support programs, such as support for participating in domestic and international exhibitions, market expansion assistance, and support for product development and marketing.
A Seongnam City official expressed gratitude to the companies for proactively creating local jobs even as new hiring has contracted due to the economic slowdown. They stated that the city would continue to expand practical support policies that companies can truly feel, striving to improve the overall employment environment.
