OREON Life Science has announced the completion of its Smart Factory, marking a new leap forward and planning to further strengthen its competitiveness against world-class biotech companies. Since its establishment in 2008, OREON Life Science has solidified its position by successfully launching world-renowned filler products, such as Switzerland's Teosyal and U.S.-based Johnson & Johnson's Evolence, in the Korean market. Building on its 10-year business model as an exclusive importer and distributor, the company has been releasing its independently developed hyaluronic acid filler, 'EYELID,' to major global markets including Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and South America.
The newly completed Smart Factory boasts an annual production capacity of 6 million units. By introducing a fully automated production process and quality control system, the company has drastically improved production speed and quality. The factory relies on automation systems rather than human labor to minimize errors and maximize product consistency and safety.
"The Smart Factory provides a production environment differentiated from existing small-scale manufacturers," emphasized Director Kang. "We are focused on producing products that meet strict quality standards, including global certifications such as GMP, ISO, CE, and FDA."
OREON's flagship product, the 'EYELID' filler, is a monophasic-based product that boasts quality comparable to high-end European fillers. Despite its high concentration of hyaluronic acid, EYELID provides a smooth injection experience for user convenience and is already receiving positive responses in Europe and the Middle East.
